The big question…what are the best cities for recent college grads?
Where to live? I am going to write this guessing that you don’t know. I have a gut feeling that you wouldn’t be reading this article if you’re happily settled, no longer concerned about finding a job after college, with a mortgage and roots planted in some community in never-never land.
I’m also going to guess that you’re like me…. and most of us that came from a small, generic town and have little desire to finish college and move right back to where you came from. You want to consider the best places for college grads to get away, or explore, or just see something new. But the last thing you want to do is to strike out at finding a job after college and have to move home. And, let me guess, you have some big city in mind?
There’s really not much to say except Do it. Just move.
If I have any skills at all, it’s looking into the future and realizing what I might regret one day. And many of the choices that I’ve made thus far have been based solely on the fact that I knew I wouldn’t be able to live with myself as a middle-aged woman full of should-haves.
If you want to find the best cities for recent college grads, have dreamed of moving to New York City, or Los Angeles, or Paris, or Arizona, or Florida, or Texas, or WHATEVER…. Just do it. Do what you have to do and move there.
Find out about the most affordable cities for new graduates.
