For authors, it is a multi-stage process that includes editing, proofreading, printing, marketing, and advertising or publicity. From traditional forms of publishing to current methods, publishing has been seen through many phases of human civilization. As a student, I have often searched for effective tools for publishing my researched work at either free or cost-friendly prices.

What To Consider Before Picking A Journal?

Almost anything can get published, including videos, images, letters, etc. While searching for where to publish, it’s essential to consider the journals:

  1. Impact Factor: for beginners, journals with a low impact factor should be considered.
  2. Article type: it’s essential to know the type of articles the journal accepts.
  3. Accessible: it’s also essential to ensure publishing in that journal is free.

From subsequent research over the months, I have been drawn to a lot of blogs, and vlogs that discuss publishing on Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing), with catchy captions like ‘how to self-publish on Amazon” and “how to publish a book on Amazon in ten minutes.’ As a student or writer, publishing helps you gain and establish recognition in your field, it also provides a research channel for other students or writers in your field of study or work.
