Requirements for a Transfer Student 

Anybody can transfer, even if you are enrolled in a regular session at a college after secondary school graduation, except you are taking summer classes. 

If you are applying as a junior-level transfer student, then following the requirements below is all you need to be considered for selection: 

● Complete the 7- course pattern below by the end of spring term: 

● 2 transferable courses in English composition. 

● 1 transferable course in mathematical concepts and quantitative reasoning. ● 4 transferable college courses selecting at least two of the following subject areas: ○ arts and humanities. 

○ social and behavioral sciences. 

○ physical and biological sciences. 

● You must also complete nothing less than 60 semester units of transferable credit. ● You must have nothing less than a 2.4 GPA in UC transferable courses (2.8 for non-residents)
