It is referred to as burnt orange and brown building because two students were running to the first baseball game when they wanted to be identified from others that’s when they bought orange and white ribbons as their identity from then onwards to every match or game that is played by students of the University of Texas, are symbolized by orange-brown ribbons. 

5. Bertha Drum Of UT

The big bertha drum of the university of Austin, Texas, was built in 1922 and was bought by the longhorns from the University of Chicago for only one dollar. The big bertha drum is known as the sweetheart of the longhorn band. It is eight feet in diameter while weighing more than five hundred kilograms. 6. Littlefield fountain

The alumni student made this fountain in remembrance of students and members of the university of texas who lost their lives during world war I. Also known as Littlefield memorial gateway. Littlefield and his wife made a lot of contributions to the wellness of the university too. The fountain has statues of Davis and Woodrow.

7. The University Tower
