Delta Gamma (DG) was founded at the Lewis School for Girls in Oxford, Mississippi, in 1873. The Albion College chapter was established in 1889 and has a strong commitment to personal growth, sisterhood, and community service. DG’s national philanthropy is Service for Sight, which supports organizations that assist individuals who are blind or visually impaired. The Albion College chapter hosts several events each year to raise money for the foundation, including the Delta Gamma Anchor Splash, the Delta Gamma Shamrock Run, and the Delta Gamma Anchors Aweigh Auction.
