Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) is a private, Christian university located in Marion, Indiana. The university has a thriving Greek life community, with several sororities and fraternities on campus. In this response, we will focus on the sororities at IWU.

There are three sororities at IWU, each with its unique traditions, philanthropies, and sisterhoods. These sororities are Alpha Chi Omega, Delta Alpha Pi, and Kappa Delta.
Alpha Chi Omega (AXO) was founded in 1885 and has a focus on promoting the values of sisterhood, leadership, and service. Their philanthropic focus is domestic violence awareness and prevention, and they organize events and fundraisers throughout the year to support this cause. Alpha Chi Omega also has a strong tradition of sisterhood, with many social events and activities to bring members together.
Delta Alpha Pi (DAPi) is a local sorority founded in 2004 at IWU. The sorority has a focus on promoting the values of sisterhood, leadership, and community service. Their philanthropic focus is supporting the local Grant County Rescue Mission, and they organize events and fundraisers throughout the year to support this cause. Delta Alpha Pi also has a strong tradition of sisterhood, with many social events and activities to bring members together.
Kappa Delta (KD) was founded in 1897 and has a focus on promoting the values of friendship, leadership, and community service. Their philanthropic focus is Prevent Child Abuse America, and they organize events and fundraisers throughout the year to support this cause. Kappa Delta also has a strong tradition of sisterhood, with many social events and activities to bring members together.
In order to join a sorority at IWU, students must participate in a formal recruitment process that takes place during the first few weeks of the fall semester. This process involves attending informational sessions, meeting members of each sorority, and participating in various events and activities. At the end of the process, students may receive bids from one or more sororities, and they have the option to accept or decline these bids.
In addition to the social and philanthropic opportunities provided by sororities, IWU also has a strong emphasis on leadership development. Many sororities on campus offer leadership opportunities within the chapter, such as serving as a chapter officer or participating in leadership retreats and workshops. In addition, IWU offers a variety of leadership programs and opportunities through the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership.
Overall, the sororities at IWU provide students with a strong sense of community, sisterhood, and support. They also offer many opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and community service. If you are considering attending IWU and are interested in Greek life, we encourage you to explore the various sororities on campus and find the one that best aligns with your values and interests.
